We believe that all animals have a therapeutic benefit. Rising Stars Farm currently has chickens, ducks, geese, goats, dogs, a cat, and a cow. Volunteers at the farm can help with their on-going care (feeding, watering, grooming, stall/pasture upkeep) or just hang out and have fun with them! There’s always general farm work to be done in addition to the care of the variety of animals. Fences may need repair, land cleared for more fields, hay to be unloaded, and general errands (e.g., picking up supplies and feed). Volunteers are needed to support all aspects of running the farm.
